We recognize that our climate and environment are damaged with increasing quantity of GHG; hence, as a member of global village and a responsible corporation, Micro-Star promises to :

• Ensure the implementation of GHG inventory
• Reduce GHG emission, and produce energy efficient products
• Disclosure our GHG reduction strategy and share our experience with colleagues

In light of current greenhouse gas effects and its increasingly serious problem, a variety of issues continue to spread in relation to global warming. Inspired to care for the environment, protect the Earth, and fulfill the responsibilities as global and corporate citizen, MSI will follow the Kyoto Protocol for out of control greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), nitrous oxide (N2O), Hydrofluorocarbons (HFCS), perfluorocarbons (PFCS), sulphur hexafluoride (SF6) and other six categories of gases which will undergo inventory and the use of statistics. MSI has completed the greenhouse gas emissions in Taiwan and two manufacturing plants in China on 2007. MSI’s main source of greenhouse gas emissions comes mainly from the production which utilizes and purchases electricity generated carbon dioxide emissions.

MSI will follow it as a future basis for greenhouse gas system and establish ISO 14064-1 international standards certification. MSI will also continue to promote greenhouse gas reductions in order to sustain the presence and quality of human life, and protect our irreplaceable asset, the Earth.
